Thank you to everyone who made the 2nd Annual The First Tee National School Program Champions Challenge such an incredible experience! This culminating skills challenge hosted 154 4th graders from all 11 county elementary schools. Patterson and Sloup Represent The First Tee of Brunswick County Nationally
The First Tee proudly provides offers several amazing events and opportunities for participants. These opportunities require that participants complete an in-depth application that is then review by committee. Though the specific eligibility requirements differ by opportunity, each opportunity is very competitive and highlights only the strongest young people in The First Tee internationally.

The First Tee and Scouting
"To me, the Boy Scouts of America and The First Tee share the same values and goals: to increase life skills in order to better the individual participant. I find that some of The First Tee Nine Core Values such as: respect, honesty, integrity, and perseverance run parallel to the Twelve Points of the Boy Scout Law, which include being: trustworthy, loyal, courteous, cheerful, and reverent. Both of these outstanding organizations have made a major impact on my life for the past few years."

THE FIRST TEE TOURNAMENT SUCCESS
A picture perfect day, pristine course conditions, attentive volunteers and professional staff, a huge crowd and a flawless pace of play all combined to make The First Tee’s June 2nd Future Generations Tournament an unqualified success. Played across all four of the highly acclaimed St. James courses—The Reserve, The Members, The Players and The Founders Clubs—nearly 500 players participated making it once again the largest event of its kind in all of the coastal Carolinas.
