Carolinas Life Skills & Leadership Academy

The Carolinas Life Skills and Leadership Academy provides a thrilling in-residence learning experience based on character development, core values, life skills, leadership, and citizenship.

OUR MISSION

The mission of The Carolinas Life Skills and Leadership Academy is to impact the lives of young people by providing educational programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values, and promote healthy choices through the game of golf.

OUR VISION

Our vision is to be the world leader in youth life skills and leadership academy delivery and impact.

OUR PROGRAM

Our program immerses teenage participants in a high intensity life skills and leadership experience. Learning is embedded in leader training and golf activities. Participants will develop a personal campaign for their high school and college years. The overall theme of our program is "leadership for life."

June 16th-June 21st - The First Tee of the Cape Fear Region, The First Tee of Eastern North Carolina, and West Brunswick High School

June 23rd-June 28th - Military Youth

July 7th-July 12th - The First Tee East Territory

July 14th-July 19th - Georgetown County

July 21st-July 26th - Youth of Wounded Warriors

July 28th-August 2nd - The First Tee East Territory

August 4th-August 9th - Boys and Girls Homes of North Carolina

August 11th-August 16th - North Brunswick High School and South Brunswick High School

*All registration for The Carolinas Life Skills and Leadership Academy sessions will be done online. If you have difficulty registering online, please contact Coach Terry at (910) 754-5288.

OTHER INFORMATION

Attendees for The Carolinas Life Skills and Leadership Academy must be between 14 and 17 years of age.

Attendees for the two The First Tee East Territory academies must be Eagle or Ace level.

There is no registration fee to attend The Carolinas Life Skills and Leadership Academy. However, all transportation fees must be covered and arranged by the sponsoring organization and/or the participant's family.

All academy attendees must bring the following: clean bed linens for a single bed, blanket, pillow, towels, and wash cloths.

After registration, each participant will receive a follow-up email including greater details on what should be packed.
